I had a For Sale listing removed. The notice text was truncated and the link returned a 404. Exchange rules direct here for clarification.

The listing included item descriptions, pricing, 2x timestamps and a link to https://d13x.com/knives, which is a personal, non-business site used to consolidate photos and checkout for items listed across multiple platforms.

Re-review and AI scan of exchange rules don't return explicit language prohibiting personal (non-business) links or timestamp photos of new-in-box items shown in their packaging. I can omit NIB listings or use photos of items only in the future, just prefer to avoid opening factory sealed items.

But pls advise as to what post format I can use to link to my photos / checkout page that meet compliance. Ty.

I did not move your post offline, but I will say that your time stamp does not meet forum requirements.

The four requirements for the date stamp pic are
username, date, and "BladeForums", plus the actual item being sold all in the same picture.
You can take a group shot, or individual shots of each item, but the paper with the information must be physically in the picture next to the item you are selling.
Boxes don't count.
Adding a separate photo of the date stamp by itself does not count either.

Having your own web site for selling your knives does not strike me as being a hobbiest selling knives from his personal collection. The Gold Membership is for hobbiests so they can buy and sell from their personal collections. Not for those who make a business of it.

Included username / date / "bladeforums" and the actual item ... future posts I can unbox all items listed if that will suffice.

AND you take credit cards for payment on that site.
I don't care what you call it. That's a business and you need a dealer membership to sell here.

Not following your logic here. I am a developer by trade. d13x is just a spare domain I own and there is no entity assigned to it. Ecommerce isn't limited to businesses and every buy / sell I do involves a CC transaction (paypal, etc). Its clearly a personal site if you look at what else is being sold there (used motorcycle and chevy Nova parts ... lol). It links my personal ebay and bladebinge account profiles. There is a cash pickup option that routes transactions to my home address.

The only other post I have made on this forum is a picture of a knife display case (that I made) in my office - I am a hobbyist selling knives from my personal collection.

Using a checkout system to self process just allows transactions to remain as first come first serve, prevents both parties from having to coordinate sales via DMs and mitigates fraud concerns by providing all normal buyer / seller protections (vs PPFF that even this site discourages). Its just a better way for me to sell stuff vs babysitting ads on multiple platforms at risk of bad routing or communication errors.

I understand its not conventional ... and not trying to buck your system. Just trying to sell a few knives and maybe share some pics / chat with other collectors, so hoping that by accommodating the above I can proceed.

PM me if you have specific questions that are better addressed offline ... I can give you a phone number if preferred. Lmk ... tks.

Proposal
--
I currently have about 20-25 knives I want to sell. I also have a tendency to impulse buy - so that number might diminish at a slower rate of return.

+ will limit my posts to 2-3 at a time so the optics aren't weird
+ will post ≤ the prescribed interval @ 1 ad within 24 hrs
+ will make sure everything is removed from the box for the timestamp
+ will link specific listings on my page as a more photos > purchase function of the ad
+ will put a disclaimer on the FS posts so users understand I am not a business, with an anchor link to this post.

If you notice an overtly suspicious pattern that definitively proves this is really "Jerry from Knife World" going through all this trouble to skirt a $40 account upgrade ... cancel my account and keep my $20. Go buy a knife with it.

If the day comes where I say F it, move to the hills and start slangin' websites or display cases ... I will buy a sponsor account. Lmk if that works.

The staff has discussed it, they concur with my assessment that you will need a Dealer membership to sell on this site.
You can try to take it up with the owner, Spark, if you wish.
