I just grabbed three more Mini-Tools from a discontinued item liquidator. :thumbup:
I bought my first set for a song on some forum or another. Then, my son started accompanying me on fishing trips, and because he's little and has an eye for little things, he soon claimed them as his own. I had to scramble to find another set for myself since they'd been discontinued.
I often carry small Plano boxes in my kayak with some basic tackle. But the boxes change depending on what I want to fish for on a given day. There's a crappie and panfish box, a bass box, and a trout box. No matter which one I toss in my kayak dashboard, I still need pliers, and the Leatherman Mini-Tool is the perfect compact package that fits in these small tackle boxes.
I used to have to remember to transfer the pliers. Now, with three more Mini-Tools on their way, I should be set. I can just spread the Leatherman love around.
