Well I will be spending more time with you Emerson folks. Looks like I will be getting a Mini Commander from one of our fellow members this week. I've been wanting one for a while, every since I first saw one. Feels like Christmas is back, I'm so excited! A wave opener, sweet! I can't wait. I need to get a Emerson hat or shirt or something! Maybe they'll send me one when they hear how excited I am lol.

I'm new here. Just bought a Mini-Commander BTS myself yesterday, my first Emerson; I think I'm really going to like it. The Emerson website has a "Sharpening" section with pics that make the process look pretty easy. It may or may not be representative of reality, but I don't know, because I haven't tried it yet.

Emersons a certainly no harder to sharpen than a "normal" knife, if any thing there probably easier.

The secret is to try and not let your knife actually get dull, just keep touching
it up with a ceramic rod or realy fine stone and that will keep it singing ;):thumbup:
