Instead of going in my pocket they are getting wrapped up for gifts

Dad is getting orange leek, FIL is getting kershaw turbulance and lil bro is getting the mora robust!

Ordered an extra mora for myself so not a total loss:)

I chose these because they are on my list of blades to get and I like giving stuff I like:thumbup:

What sharp things are you gifting this season?

Be happy man, it feels good to give knives/gifts in general!

I will probably give my dad and my cousin a knife each but I am not sure yet what types/brands... I need to get on it though!

My cousin gave me a knife he picked up at a auction on Sunday. Looks like the blade and handle are from two different knives, but it's cool.

I feel your pain.

I bought a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and a Benchmade Mini RSK Mk1 as gifts. Haven't wrapped them yet and they're sitting on the shelf next to my desk.

At first, I was able to ignore them. Now I'm handling them just about everyday. And that little voice in my head has changed from "You Da Man!" to "You Da IDIOT! Keep 'em!"

Lynx: you better decide and get'em ordered. Times a tickin!

Travis: I'm gonna check them out and have my wife wrap the same day they arrive or else the receivers will end up getting LNIB knives hehe

My old man dug my Chestnut Bone Sod Buster Jr. so much I'm getting him one. :)

Can you blame him? It's a nice looking piece, man

I might be getting my brother a Kershaw Thermite. Every time he comes to the house, he ends up playing with it for half an hour or so.

Thermite is a great knife, so is the Thistle... by the way both are doing a Cyber Monday sale on BladeHQ right now!

Haha thanks for the headsup, Lynx!

Now let's see that frankenknife your cousin gave ya.

I'll take some pics man, it definitely needs some work with rust... not sure if Flitz is gonna cut it. The handle is cool though, petrified wood.

Gave my dad a similar knife but it is definitely a file attached to a handle... it isn't beveled. I mean he knew what they were, he's no knife slouch, he just found them interesting.

It's becoming a favorite of mine for sure! :)

I always enjoy giving a knife away. Although my dad always gives me a penny back; he says you're not supposed to "give" away a knife.

It's definitely a bitter sweet time but, I like giving utilitarian gifts that people will use (and it sounds like your family will be using these gifts) so it's also a happy time.

He doesn't know it but, my brother is getting a zt 301.
That knife is beefier than it looks online.
Hopefully he likes it.
