That was my auction and the handles were red micarta not wood. Not sure what you are trying to start here.

Oh, I just went by the pictures. Handle was wood.

Did you put new pictures up now with Micarta?

Is this a new auction someone may have taken my description. My auction ended about a week ago. They are really neat handles. Send me your email and I can send you pictures of the one I sold.

My handle is 1967BUCK. I think in 1973 you could get a 124,106, Kalinga, Akonua and some of the 500 series in red micarta. There may have been a few others but it is rare for any of these models to have them.

BG42EDGE,
I see where you were going. He took my description from my auction. I see his knife has the birchwood handles you were speaking of. I cannot figure out how to post pictures yet but if anyone did not see the Kalinga with red micarta that I sold I still have pictures and can email them to you.

Buck61, If the auction is over then you can post the picture here. I really like the old Kalinga line and micarta. I would like to to see a picture of the knife.

Somebody stole your description, then.

Just search most recently listed.....it just came on this afternoon.

Tell e-Bay and they'll pull it for stolen description.

:)

Man you guys are quick. It is a nice one. If I can ever help you guys please let me know. I usually stick with fixed blades made prior to 1985 but maybe able to help in other areas. Thanks for posting the link.
Take care guys,
Heath

You have been selling some great knives......I've been watching, but I don't think I bought any.

Yet!

:)

Heath, you always have nice stuff on there-I follow all the time and have last second bid but always sniped and havent won:( ....yet.:)

Thank you for the kind words. I really enjoy the knives but have enjoyed the relationships I built because of them. I look forward to meeting more of you.
Heath

You're welcome.

I get a kick out of the new (stolen description) auction.

It's one thing to steal a description, it's another thing to use it on the wrong knife.

Hope the guy gets his auction pulled.

I sent him a note when I first saw it and his excuse was that he doesn't know much about knives.

He hasn't changed a thing. Apparently he's really that dumb.

So it goes.....

I bought a stag-handled, nickel-framed 110 on the 'bay a few years ago. The stag on it is beautiful. At the time, my 'obsession' was focused on acquiring more such knives (stag bucks), so it came as quite a surprise when I saw another listing, some weeks after I bought mine, of a stag-handled 110 using the SAME EXACT PICTURES of the knife I had already bought (the grain, 'popcorn' & character of the stag was identical to mine, on both scales as pictured). Different seller, but using the same pics.

I wondered what kind of feedback that seller was going to get, from whomever ended up buying his knife (and finding it didn't match the pics).
