I apologize for the length of this post but the last few days have been quite a roller coaster ride for me. Read on... or not.

Wednesday morning I managed to sell my indoor bike trainer I had listed on Craigslist and as such, had a bit of extra cash that I intended spending on a new knife... or two. Lo and behold, later that day a BNIB Ti Military popped up on the Exchange for a great price so I snatched that one up like a ninja; quick and without hesitation. Needless to say, I was super psyched about the deal I got.

I had also been eyeing the Domino since it's release but was waiting patiently for a good deal on one.

Before the birds awoke Thursday, I happened stir from my slumber and was wide awake so I hopped on BladeForums and, by chance, happened upon a sweet deal on a Domino. I could not have been more elated. Two awesome deals in two days, not to mention the fact that they were two seriously awesome knives. My excitement was palpable.

Well, my excitement would soon be dampened when I attempted to contact the seller of the Ti Millie. A few PMs to the seller yielded no responses and an email attempt revealed that the address given was disabled. Still hopeful, I did some sleuthing, yet my hopes were soon dashed when I came across a thread with a few honest BladeForums members that had been having the same issues with the seller. I hesitate to elaborate any further as the situation has yet to be fully resolved, but at this time it would seem that a number of us will not be receiving any knives in exchange for our hard earned cash.

My spirits at a low from the recent developments, I tried to focus on the one positive thing, the Domino that was already en route to me.

Friday morning, still reeling from being wronged by a fellow BladeForums member, I did my best to keep my mind off of the things that were out of my hands. I perused the Spyderco website and came across the new Black Szabo. It was love at first sight. I immediately did some Googling and much to my delight, found that it had recently been released and was in stock at a few online retailers. Against my better judgement and at the detriment of my bank account balance, I purchased the Black Szabo without hesitation.

While this week should be ending with three new Spydercos on their way to my eager pocket, unfortunately it would seem that only two will be making it here. And while two out of three isn't that great, it is still pretty good (aside from the fact that I have yet to recover my money).

At any rate, there are two sharp beauties on their way to my doorstep and I couldn't be happier to make them a part of my family of Spydercos.

Congrats on the new acquisitions, I hope they arrive quickly to dull your pain and I hope you are able to retrieve your money with as little drama as possible.

That is horrid horrid horrid. If I still had my ti military I would get you a heck of a deal on it as I hate when this stuff happens.

Well at least you have some sweet new goodness coming in.
