I realize a lot of people might not be in to killing animals , so for the greener folks out there I wanted you to know that the RC 4 can slaughter even veggies for you. Below is some photos taken yesterday of the first tasty morsels from the garden, I do believe the lettuce screamed much louder than the raccoon did.
This first photo shows the open terrain, which makes stalking the lettuce rather difficult. You can tell by the shadows that I tried coming up from behind and down-wind

These next 2 photos show a successful capture and quick dispatch of the prey

OH yes I almost forgot. It's time for the RC 4 to cut 100 strings to support the tomatoes . No rest for the wicked. The wicked RC 4 pulls guard-en duty.

Gotta go I think the spinach is calling my name

I remember one of the first reviews I ever did for Tactical Knives magazine. I used a folder to harvest a load of okra from the garden. After the review came out I got a call from another Southerner from my town. He just wanted to call and chat and told me he knew I had to be from the South when he read the line about "cutting okra."

Gardening is one of the best survival skills anyone can get involved in.

Man;it's good to hear someone out there eats okra. I just planted a 100 foot row. You can't find anyone here that even knows what it is. I guess my southern roots show up also. I was born in West Virginia and grew up in Virginia. Once a hillbilly always a hillbilly. And you are right about gardening being a great survival skill, the day is coming when a person might not be able to run to a store and get something to eat. I have been thinking about putting together a class on survival gardening.

Killer garden, I wish I had that much space.

I love me some Okra, fried is the best but I'll take it any way I can get it.

100' row?!!!!

Wow! you will have enough okra to feed an army. You'll be cutting every day once it gets going :D
