exclusives?

So I've noticed a few "exclusives" in my short time with CRK blades and was curious just how exclusive some of them are. I acquired a Large 21 CF inlay Bladehq Exclusive and they're sold out but the Knifeart CF Insingo 21 has some out and been available for sale again since I've been into CRK. Are there and estimated production runs of these "exclusives" out there? I'm mainly wondering because I'm considering trading my CF Inlay for a large CF Insingo Knifeart exclusive but don't want to make a bad move if mine will be the rarer one down the road I guess.

I went through a cleansing of sorts recently and decided I wanted to use all my knives, no more dust collectors, and for some reason I don't want to use my CF inlay! I have the small cf insingo as a daily carry and would like to have the larger version for a user too.

I could be totally off with this but. You rarely see a blade hq cf inlay 21 on the exchange but usually any day you will see some flavor of the knifeart cf.

What it means by an exclusive type of CRK is that CRK only makes it for one particular dealer. For example, if you want a Wilson Combat Sebenza, a.k.a. Starbenza, the only place you can get one is from Wilson Combat. You cannot order one from CRK directly.
That's why you see some sell out quickly from exclusive dealers. They're made in small batches and sometimes it takes a while for them to have stock again.

There are some exclusives, such as Action Concepts Gonzales Battle Flag "Come And Take It". There were only 12 of these made. I verified this with CRK before I purchased it. I think he has 4 left.

There are 2 types of exclusives- Dealer exclusives where 1 dealer has exclusive right to sell all that CRK makes( Dog Paw)and limited exclusives which are one time runs and also usually(if not always) sold by a single dealer. These limited are numbered .

When CRK grants a dealer an exclusive ( KnifeArt, TNK, BladeHQ for example ), they are granted that design for 1 year. After that, it will become available to others. When the insingo came out, it was a KnifeArt exclusive. After the year was up, it could be offered by other dealers. Carbon Fiber is some dealers exclusives also.

Certain CGG/UG designs are a little different. That dealer will own that design and they will offer them only. If someone wants that design, they have to ask that dealer or individual for permission. Dealers usually have numbered line 1-12 or 1-25, etc. Individuals like me are one-offs. I did my NCIS design and I own that design. If someone wants CRK to do that design, CRK emails me to ask permission. Rather than have them email me several times, I said anyone that wants the wording can do so.

I think it is remarkable that CRK does this, not only for dealers, but normal folk as well. Just one of the things that makes me love Chris Reeve Knives that much more.
