Anyone have any experience with Executive Edge brand knives? I came across them at Cove Cutlery (www.covecutlery.com), and they seem interesting. On the one hand, $45 price tag suggests probably not just throwaway Made in China caliber. On the other, if they were great, it seems like someone would have praised them here on the forums.

So what's the scoop?

If it were a one hand opener I would buy it in a heartbeat. Does anyone make a onehand opener pen look-alike knife?

I believe that it's the only product they make. There was some discussion on them in the past, but with the anti-terrorist/mall ninja stigma, they may not be be as popular as they used to be.

I have one I bought at a pawn shop for 5bux and they are good utility knives but for 44.00 I think I'll pass. If you want one go for it they are nice but for that kind of money you could get a spyderco.

Way back when, they were fine knives. I had a Fazendeiro, the largest size, one of the very few knives I ever lost. I hurts to remember that.

Th current smaller models aren't as good.

If someone were to make them of a good steel, in the larger sizes, I'd pay real money for them. They were sort of a tactical razor.

I'd pay for it too. Good steel, good lock, and a good design.... Hopefully a maker/manufacturer is watching this.
