Hi All,

I was wondering if Executive Edge is still making knives? They're the ones that make the really cool folders with pen-type handles. Beautiful knives, I thought. Any information and hopefully non Ebay sources would be much appreciated!

It's an interesting and effective mechanism and deserves a good steel and the old range of sizes. They aren't easy to find, I never see them advertised. Maybe they are just a sideline of the company that owns the name now, or maybe they market them only as 'executive' gifts.

Esav,

That sucks about losing the knife. Do you think the clip allowed it to slip out of your pocket?

Ortho- ever had any experiences with any of them?

So, the EE knives made today are made different than the originals? I really heard some good things about them at one time, then nothing.

The Fazendeiro (like Spanish 'haciendero', rancher) is the largest size, no clip. I left it behind when I packed up my knives after a club meeting, it must have slipped off the table behind the seat.

The website doesn't come out and say it, but I think someone bought up the name and is having a reasonable replica made, but it's not what it used to be.

I noticed the website seemed lacking in information and pictures. That's too bad because these were appealing little knives. Once again, sorry to hear about you losing yours :(
