My Brother, no one makes a cooler friction folder than you my brother!!

Mike,

I really love these. One of the advantages of a friction folder, at least imo, is that they can be thinner than regular knives with locks. Have you considered making a super slim version of this? Cool stuff!

Real Talk..

Your on point..

Yes, I want to explore thinner models..

This is pretty beefy...the blade is .150" and the CF Slabs are .200" at the thickest point

Thanks for taking time to comment on my work..

This is my 13th year as a knifemaker

For the past Six Years my sole source of income has been Knifemaking

My wife doesnt work and this is how I feed my two sons and buy PSP's, bicycles and pay doctor bills...

This knifemaking deal is really serious business for me and I really appreciate you taking time to post..

I really like this knife as I do many of yours, however your maker's marks are most often just too overstated for me.

+1:thumbup: VERY cool, the carbon fibre looks awesome and the beads (especially the skull) do too!

Peter

Thanks Friend

SteelFlame really knocked them out of the park

Have a great day....

Great Post Dude, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts

We are working on new logo's for the fourth quarter and I will certainly incorporate a more subtle/traditional makers logo based on your comments here..

Have a good 1.....

Would it be a Snody any other way?

Understated, subtle- like a White Rhino on Crack.

I don’t recall ever wanting a friction folder until I saw yours.

I can see where you're coming from Kevin, as I generally prefer an understated maker's mark. But understated and Snody don't really seem a comfortable fit. ;) Everything about the knives and the entire Snody mythos is bold and right up front. Don't mess with $ucce$$.

Have you seen my leather?:D
Just in case they dont see the logo on the blade.
We got people down here getting their car interiors done in this pattern, its hot and the women love it...
I could provide you with Snody Gucci Leather for a custom sofa or briefcase...;)
Thanks again..

bicycles, eh? :D
That's something I like to hear!

Those sheaths are definitely too freakin' cool for words.

Roger

Thanks Bro...

I appreciate it man.

Can you imagine Kevin with the full custom Snody/Gucci car interior.
Ostrich head liner with crocodile on the center console and woodgrain on the wheel.... I could make that happen for less than $5,000.00
Make it reality.....$$$

The thing that Mike does best in my opinion (and he does alot of things very well) is balance and feel. I don't think I ever picked up a Snody design that didn't just fit. Seriously, I don't know of any other maker that puts so much thought into this aspect of a knife. As someone who is always searching for "the perfect carry knife" I am almost frustrated in the fact that so many of Mike's designs are literally "flawless" in that regard. And sometimes the things that make the knife fit so well are so subtle, the average knife user could never even point to them.

Well said, I agree, Mike's designs not only look great, but his detail to fit and useful function is what really helps to complete the package. :D
