So with the economy unknown and the state of the world insane, I've decided not to trade in my 2011 Kia Sorento SX V6 and spend an additional $20k+ on a new car. I've decided to fix/upgrade my current ride. While my Sorento is already very quick, I want to add a performance muffler and tips. Despite being 10 years old, the stock system is in perfect condition (no rust at all even spending its life in CHI). I'm wanting y'all's input/experiences. I don't want anything ridiculously loud like my old Camaro you could hear it from three towns over. I want something that has a boss sound but won't drone too much either. The engine is a 3.5L V6.
On previous vehicles, I went with Flowmaster. Sounded great on my 1992 Camaro RS 305 and 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6. I've been looking at loudness ratings, and have been thinking about Magnaflow. I like the design with the dual pipe setup so it won't be super obvious its not stock. I hate soup can designs. I've no experience with any other brands, like Borla, DC, etc.
Going to be replacing the stock Infinity Nav/Head unit at its starting to go (mainly the bluetooth) plus I want something that tells me more info than just that I'm listening to my phone. Like actual tracks and stuff. However, due to the microchip shortage, there is NOTHING available currently.
Thanks y'all.
