Please donate to the exotic handle shipping cost fund. 2$ would be wonderful.

I have paid for a couple of orders of reindeer and elk antler.
I had it all shipped to Kurt. (roadrunner)
I know there were a few other guys with exotic handle materials they wanted to send.
If everybody could help with a small donation to help cover the cost of shipping, that would really speed things up.

If you are interested, please send your exotic handle materials you wish to donate to Roadrunner.

Everybody else who is interested, please consider donating via paypal a few dollars to help pay for the shipping of a heavy box of exotic wood, bone and antler to Nepal.

(Please paypal kurt/roadrunner)

Then sit back and wait for the exotic beauties to show up....

This could be really great for everyone, especially the lucky dogs who get the fancy handled khuks! As Danny said I'll be more than happy to box these up and send them along, just e-mail me at rr_nospamblade@excite.com (remove the nospam part) and I'll send along my address for shipments. That's also my paypal address for any shipping cost donations. Thanks guys!

I have some Bocote and Red Heart that isn't thick enough for AK handles, but would be great on some Chiruwas, or Kerambits or something. Will try to get them in mail this week(have to send off some Ebay stuff anyway)

Great!
It sounds like the ball is starting to roll!

Man, I hope everybody contributes to this. Heck, even a big block of linen micarta might work!
Really, anything useful, stick it in there!

Hickory axe handle, whatever...

(Dont forget to donate a little bit to help pay for shipping to nepal)

Just posting to keep thread alive and try to get Kurt some more help with project: NICEHANDLE

NICEHANDLE, LOL. :) An update: I have recieved a box of antler pieces a few days ago, not sure who it was from. Also Danny, I got the pieces for your Seax and will begin work later this week. Stay tuned for pics.

I ordered two boxes of antler and had them shipped to you.
(i dont know the names offhand)
thanks!

Aha! That explains it then. I was worried, because the pieces in the first box were nowhere near big enough to do the job on your seax. The ones in the second box will do just fine however.

OK, I'm waiting for one shipment to arrive and have recieved enough to cover the shipping cost, so if you want in on this please let me know by monday. Otherwise I will ship as soon as the next box gets here.

Many thanks for great consideration. We can use the tips most toss in the trash to handle the 6 small tool kits. Nothing wasted.

Right now just the two boxes of antler you sent to me Danny. The smaller ones should make excellent chakma and karda handles, and the larger pieces would work well on a JKM or Kumar Karda. The box that's on it's way is supposed to be wood, not sure what kind yet. I think I may throw in some of the purple heart Aardvark sent me, I love what the kamis have done with it in the past. Should be lots of good buys coming out of Nepal in a month or two. :D
