A collector asked me about this copy of a Randall.

The only mark is a crescent and star, like on the Turkish flag.

Anybody know where it is from, and who made it?

THANKS

I showed the pic of the brothers in the brochure to my friend who had his combat knife made there in the mid 60's before heading to Vietnam. He confirms that they are the same who made it. The knife photo originally posted by Mr Levine is identical construction to the combat knife I have and the dagger that my veteran friend owns.

Let me state again, these are extremely well made. The leather spacers in the handle have withstood 30 years of use and are not the slightest bit loose, etc. The edge holding is exceptional and I am guessing that they are differntially tempered since the spine on my combat knife measures out at 19 Rc.

These brothers know what they are doing in making a forged knife. They were around enough American troops to incorporate some fine American designs too.

I will post a pic of my Turkish knife today sometime.
