expanding EP stone collection

Found a guy on another knife forum :eek: that is selling 2k, 3k, 5k, 8k, 15k stones cut to size for edgepro systems, with or without blanks.

Now i am getting pretty awesome results with my edgepro stones + 7k polishing tapes. Will these higher grit stones put my sharpening into a different league or just a waste of money?
 
Are they waterstones?

If you have the extra $$ I say why not :)
 
I say give them a try. Shaptons have worked great for me, and my Glasstones stay very flat and cut anything. I've heard good things about the Shapton Pros as well.
