Just pulled the trigger on my first Benchmade. I own 7 Spydercos, 2 SOGs, 1 CRKT (Target clearance bin), 1 Kershaw and 1 Leatherman, 1 KA-BAR. I can now add a Benchmade 585 Mini Barrage to my list. I've been looking for a sub 3" assisted folder without a liner lock with something other than AUS8 for a steel choice. The mini barrage hit on my request like a Mack truck. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Congrats on the Benchmade, they make nice knives.

You know they're like potato chips, right? No one can have just one...:DThe Mini Barrage won an award as well:

That's sorta funny. I am not one of the rabid BM fans that can be found in the knife world. That said, earlier this summer I was looking to buy an automatic. After looking I decided on the BM AFOII. Bought it, it came in, and I was very happy. Didn't think another thing about another BM. Then a couple weeks later I decided to get a smaller auto and next thing you know another BM shows up; this time an Auto Axis Rift.

Before I realized it, I have ended up with 4 BM's in the past two months. The other two are an Onslaught and the newest, a large Bone Collector folder.

All of these came with perfect fit/finish, razor sharp edges, and tight blades with no wiggle.

All in all, I have been very impressed and happy with these purchase's!:thumbup::D
