expansion of the sheepdog line

So I was flipping my sheepdog last night and thinking, a super sheepdog would be sweet!

A blade somewhere around 3.8-4 inches. With various sizes of the other models I wondered if this might be something to come in the future? I would be in for one for sure.

What do you all think?
 
Yeah... of all my Emersons, I use the larger ones most--the largest I have being the Ubr Commander. It does literally everything, from around the fire pit and bbq, to hikes, to all sorts of odd jobs, and even the kitchen. It's a big blade, but extremely versatile and nimble. And did I mention that it's a honkin big blade! The one thing I'd be a little cautious about would be the speed/ velocity with which a larger blade would deploy. Man, that would come flying out on those bearings. I had a ZT 0561, and once the detent was overcome, the blade flew out. Of course, this can easily be understood as a "pro" rather than something to inspire caution... :D
 
Haha, I know what you mean! I recently picked up a 0452CF and that thing certainly opens with authority!
 
I'm just looking forward to them getting to distributers especially the speerpoint
