EXPECTED OUTAGE: Software upgrade soon, please read!

Hey guys!

Infopop has finally released a new version of the UBB software that powers BF and we'll be upgrading in the next week. Expect an outage (I'll give a few hours notice).

I'm not upgrading now because there are still some bug issues present, but there are some cool features that will be coming with the upgrade, including the ability for you guys to change your username.

Discovery of BF coupled with my obsessiveness has meant a major change in my lifestyle. This is what I do now. I can't take a substitute like videos.

Do you think you could let me have the contest knives so I could play with them??

Any idea how long the outage will last? I'm usually sleeping between 5 am and noon, Pacific Time, if you can schedule it then I'd appreciate it

Just for kicks, Spark, you wanna check the average hits for the "other site" on a regular day and during the outage here. I know they'll get more people while we're out here, but I'm curious as to how many.

I wish that my upgrades only took a couple hours...I'm still ironing bugs out of Windows Millennium after two weeks

Why is changing our usernames a good thing?

Seems like if everyone is switching names, it could be a way for a-holes to hide who they really are.
 
I gonna be like a heroin addict in need of a fix when this puppy goes off-line. Thanx for the heads up though.
 
Thanks for the warning Spark. I would also like to know if you have any idea how long BladeForums will be down.
