Expecting my first Strider.

I'm looking forward to receiving my first Strider! Thanks Izrafil!

I've never used a paracord wrapped blade before so I'll reserve judgement until later. Although, I'm curious if Strider will be able to modify my blade with scales? I know they offer G-10 on their blades if requested but what about other materials? Micarta (I like this stuff)?

As well, how much would it cost to do something like that?

id wait to see about getting G-10 scales, you might just like the cord wrap:) At first i wasnt to sure of the wrap either but after having both cord wrapped handles and G-10 (both the EB style and a D-9 with smooth green/black G10) I have to say that I like the cord wrap way better than the G-10, its just more comfortable for me, and it doesnt get as dirty or ratty looking as youd think it would.
 
I too am awaiting my first Strider.
If there's not a GB waiting for me when I get home from work today I'm going to kick the freakin mailbox off the post.
 
It was there, so my mailbox still stands.
What a tuff freakin knife. This thing ROCKS.
