Hi everybody!

In February, I attended an expedition to Serra do Divisor NAtional Park, Acre state in the extreme west of Brazil, on the border with Peru. the expedition was motivated by a course of amphibians and reptiles ... I drove 1.300 km to my city (Porto Velho...Old Port in english) in Rondônia state to Cruzeiro do Sul municipality (Acre) .... of these, 650 pure hole, the road terrible! rsrsr.

I decided share this adventure with the friend of becker forum.

Awesome thread brother! That is a gorgeous snake too! What kind was it?

Now that's the outdoors for sure !! Did you eaten by bugs or is there a local remedy for bug prevention?

Your threads are always awesome, thanks again for sharing. I love the fact that you snapped a pic of your machax stuck in the side of a building :)

Wow! Looks like an amazing trip! You had my right up until the snake in the tree! I don't do snakes well, especially knowing they are in the trees waiting to jump on my head!! I don't know if they do or not, but the idea scares the snot out of me!

Thanks! It is a harmless snake that lives in trees, called Corallus hortulanus and its popular name is snake-dog (the large teeths)...

Fortunately is an area where there are few insects and use repellent liquid and a thin curtain on the hammock...
