Expensive Beaters

This is one of my custom Damascus knives. Bought at an auction for USD $300.

I have used this thing to clean, cook, and eat all manner of animals. It hasn't been an EDC, because of it's size, and the need for me to wear a belt to carry the sheath around, but if I want a sharp knife to get things done, this is often the one I pick.

Nope. Look much nice in new in box condition. Might beat on that Gerber Prodigy though. Looks tough but cheap azz steel.

i use my bugout the same as the sebenza..

cut the tin off the grey goose bottle, cut limbs off trees in my way on trails.. clean fingernails.. stab into beer cans for shotguns.. you name it, i’ve probably done it.. but obviously no prying .. what’s the sense in breaking off the tip.

All my CPKs get beat on.

I beat on my shiros because I typically do not want to carry anything else. I also have a worn-in sebenza that I carry often when bearings aren't the right choice.

Uh, no. I don't beat on my knives, I have chisels, prybars, chain saws, that sort of thing. I don't have expensive knives, either. I usually carry a Buck 110 or 112 and I use them to cut things.

I will use my Carothers for anything I use a knife for. Same with my Hogue Ritter and GB2.
