AS too many of us do -I was just idely cruising thru what was offered on da bay one night when I decided I would bid on a Buck 871-1 -mostly because it was vaguely Strider-ish and I regretted selling off my Striders some years ago. So-25 bucks to my PO Box -can't speak to the blade steel quality -but lockup was fine -no blade play vertically or S2S -wasn't quit sure what to make of the serations -so-bought one with stripes on it for about the same money a few days after the first one came in. Decided I didn't really care for the serated blade (this is one of those things -if you use a folder to cut straps to offload from pallets -I can apreciate a serated blades utility-not something I do at all regularly.) So ordered a 889 -then a Bos ATS-34 blade for the 889-then a 881 Tanto blade /BOS ATS-34, then a really odd sorta half converted to left hand use 881 , a 882 followed that and finally a engraved signed blade 881 new in box ,
