Expensive knives and shameless behaviour

Once upon a time I did not know anything about drunken woman or ring fighting knives.

And what amazes me is the depths that "fandom" is ready to descend to.

To my surprise, this all a part of the Busse experience.

The reason why I should pay 500 dollars for a knife are becoming clearer by the moment. Nick Strider is laughing at all of you broke people.

So the busse knives are better why? they are asking for 500+ for a blade and yet they are selling at " discounted" rates in the GB#U?

Man, and you enjoy Busses why exactly? For my money Striders are a better value.

Fixer, come on man. Your post is going to start nothing but trouble with the way it is worded. Are you asking us what we like about Busse that makes us willing to spend our money on them or are you just here to stir the $hit? As for Strider being a better value for your money, that's great but stating it here serves only to start a flame war and that sort of thing is not tolerated here. What shameless behavior are you referring to any way?

Why is it some people can only feel their way is the best by peeing on someone elses campfire. The world may never know. :jerkit:

By the way it's Mick Strider and last time I checked some of his custom stuff is going for well over $1000.00 or more and a lot of the semi custom fixed blades are in the 300 to 400 range where as most of the Busse stuff is in the 200 to 300 range! Go figure!

 If you want to see shameless behavior, you should look in the GB&U for any long thread about Striders, and see the mall ninja scum that crawls out of the woodwork.:jerkit: The two companies make vastly different products, so WTF is that post all about? Trollish behavior for sure. :jerkit:

. . .Unless this is the ultimate genius plan to win Jerry's contest, by creating a troll-flame thread-the only species of thread that can surpass a free knife thread! in which case, I salute you, while perhaps spoiling that same said plan.:p

Why are Busse knives considered the "best"? Normally the people who buy things do not buy a Busse care package?

Well, first of all, most Striders are also in the $500 range and you don't even get a handle, just cord wrap! You also get a blade coating that comes off when inserted into the sheath, blade material that is like every other manufacturer (the present popular S30V, that chips easily), and unusuable grinds like the "nightmare grind" for which the real "nightmare" is trying to find a use for it or to re-sharpen it). There are several Busse knives priced from $125 to $350, so I am not sure where you are $500 basic price for a Busse.

Can you explain what a "Busse care package" is?

Just curious, how many Busse knives do you own that you have tested against your Strider knives?

I have owned several different brands and if you want to compare quality and price, a Chris Reeve Sebenza is twice the knife at half the price of any Strider folder. Strider doesn't make any knives that are the same size as a Steel Heart or larger, so you can't even compare that size range. Now for the Natural Outlaw and smaller, I can't see any Strider that can match the price or the performance. Ask Mick himself why he didn't take up Jerry's challenge to match each others knife in a performance test at Blade.

If you spent as much time researching knives as you do posting in the "Political Arena" stiring up crap, you might be better informed!

Idiotic and moronic post please ignore.

I am still trying to figure out what "shameless behavior" he is talking about, now I have to ponder what a "Busse care package" is too.

yup, well put, reeve's will do in a strider hands down.

also i too would like to know what the hell a "care package" is?
