G'Day Sir Galant, You posted recently about the high expectations of Schrade Sellers in Oz. Take a look at #290028655468. This seller is obviously a kangaroo short in the top paddock mate! He wants Au$150 = US$112.92 for a "collective" Old Timer Stockman and has supposedly seen a couple sell recently for Au$550 = US$401.50. This is the sort of turkey that is ruining the fledgling Schrade collectormarket here in Oz which had steadily gained momentum as more Aussies learn about these superb knives and the many varieties. As least he has to pay Ebay fee when it doesnt sell!
Comment mate? Hoo Roo from Oz.

Interesting. It is the only item he has for sale besides some healthfood junk. Well..... today is your lucky day. I have a rare knife here that was also one of the last made and was actually shipped to a retailer. Now, I'll not claim it is a one-of-a-kind, because the seller had a second one just like it bought at the same time. As you can see, the handle was installed inverted (I've been told this is not correct, the blade was inverted), and it is obviously an "AUSSIE EDITION", meant for the land down under!

Now, today and today only I'll entertain offers beginning with $1,000 U.S. :D

i got offered a barnd new , in tin , made in ellenvill new york schrade 3 blade stockman for $55 aussie . too bad i`m flat broke.

G'Day Codger,....Perhaps a disgruntled Schrade employee sending a subliminal message to management??...or..or..perhaps a Chinese version.don't they have things going the wrong way mate?????.....uncomfortable knife to hold or use I would have thought? Hoo Roo

that SG reminds me of a randall model 5 I seen, made for the special forces. It was designed with the blade "reversed" for coming up behind the enemy, and ...errr. "dispatching" them. The guy that had the knife had definately seen his share of the action.
Ratman out
