Been giving one of my Vec hawks more of a workout this morning when I noticed something.
When I tried using it like a hatchet, i.e. strike, then strike from the opposite direction, I had so-so luck. When I struck, then struck from the same direction, but a slightly different angle, I busted HUGE chips off, and got through the branches a lot faster.
Did I stumble on the correct way to use a hawk, or should I use it the other way, striking from alternating directions?
