Did a search and only found a minimal amount of threads on the MTX2. Anyone here have one? If so what do you think of it. From pics the one thing that concerns me is the pocket clip. Looks like they used that blasted single screw design a little low on the handle.

If you don't have one, opinions would also be appreciated. Thanks

Dark,

You may already know this.

For whatever it is worth, Tactical Knives had an article on it in March of this year - it was on the cover.

Thanks for the info. I missed that issue, work didn't allow me much time in Barnes and Noble these past couple of months :) Since it was on the cover I take it they had positive things to say?

I have a MTX2 and Yes, it has one screw. It's a larger screw than most and is recessed into the scale. I was concerned that it was resessed into micarta, until I tugged on it. It's solid. Not worried and expect no problem.

I've heard of the Terzuola, which has a similar pocket clip, having the occasional occurance of overtwisting and ripping the scale.

What's your email, I'll see if I can send you the article. I'm looking for one too.

silenthunterstudios,
Any chance you found this article? I'd love to get a copy if you did. I'm recently interested in this knife (microt. MTX2 and or the LLC). I just hope they did a good unbiased review.

Thanks,

SAK,
Would very much appreciate the help on this. If you have a link, or copy, I'd love to read.

Randy

I've been carrying one (green canvas Micarta scales and inlay model)for the last few days. I was concerned about the clip but it is quite solid. Doesn't move a lick when attempts to twist are put to it.
The blade is fairly thin at the edge making it a very good cutter. It looks good, locks up good, feels okay in my grip and has interesting grinds on the blade. All in all, I'm pleased with it so far.

I just have a couple of questions about it I'd really like to know the answers to.

1)How on Earth is one able to adjust the pivot's tension with this funky four hole fastener?

2) What kind of coating is on the plunges of the blade?
