I've never returned a knife to a manufacturer for a problem, but I just bought a new Case Mini-trapper (yellow cv) that's unacceptable to me. The clip blade has excessive wobble and rubs the center liner when closed.
Anyway, the knife is on its way back to Case. What do you think I should expect as far as turn-around time? Do you think they will repair it, and that it will take 6 weeks to do it, or are they likely to just send me a replacement, which might take a few days? Just curious as to what I should expect. Thanks for any replies!
P.S. Let's not turn this into another thread bashing or questioning the quality of Case knives in general - this knife is an exception, not the rule, IMO.
