Experience with Karesuando?

I'm looking at Karesuando axes on DLT Trading because I'm in the market for a new hatchet, and their knives seem nice and have good reviews on other websites.

However, I have three concerns.

1. The steel is listed as "forged stainless" or "stainless". I have been unable to find anything else about the steel.

2. A YouTube video I watched listed the steel at a 54 Rockwell. That seems really soft to me, but maybe I'm wrong.

3. The prices seem to run almost double the price of a comparable size Wetterlings and Hults Bruk.

Does anyone have experience with these? Is the steel good, and do you think they're worth the money? I searched around here but I didn't find much.

I have no experience with them nor am I well-versed enough in steel to comment but if it is this one they simply list steel as HRC55 Steel:

They describe the steel in this other model as:

MATERIALS
Birchwood
Reindeer Antler
Stainless Sandvik 12C27 Steel
About Sandvik 12C27 Steel

I don't see much of a price difference between the two but I might be wrong.

I don't see anything wrong with the steel choice, but I'd be lying if I said I thought they were a strong value. Quite a high price on a very small hatchet. But if it appeals to you, reviews seem to indicate that they're a quality product--just not a choice for spendthrifts like myself.

I had never actually looked at the picture of the axe, but I really wish I hadn't because the looks of that ugly little thing made me gag :barf:
As for being made of stainless Steel, carbon steel is just the way it is and how things should remain. It's like " new coke " ,putting a spoiler on a model T , or putting a synthetic stock on a Kentucky long rifle.
