Hi folks,

have a Bob Ham slipjoint on the way. :D
2-bladed Trapper with a clip point blade and a spey blade. 8 cm ~ 3.15" of ATS34 hardened to 61 HRC. Half stop.
Total length 18 cm ~ 7.1"
Stainless steel frame with double bolsters.
Pink ivory handles.

Now what can I expect on this knife? Sorry for my ignorance on Bob`s work! :( ;) It`s my 1st Ham knife and would like to hear of your experiences with his folders, please!
Thanks a lot for your effort! :thumbup:

You won't be disapointed, the stag 1 in the link is mine, great quality for the price.
Cheers

I just received my Bob Ham this past Saturday. This knife came in less than three weeks after ordering. But I think Bob's orders are really coming in and it may take longer now. It is a 3 3/4 inch folder with a single bolster, a single 3 inch blade and stag handles. For the price it is a very good knife. The stag is wonderful on this one. The blade steel is ATS-34 and is a little thinner than I like or what I norrmally get. But it is well put together and will make a good slicer. I like it enough that I am going to have a two blade trapper made. Let us know how yours turns out. I would post a photo but my puter savvy is limited.

@mitch13
Your stag handled Ham is a real beauty!:thumbup: I LOVE stag! :)
Guess I`ll get me one in the not so distant future!? :D

@Lanza
Will try to post a pic when it arrived!
BTW I prefer the thinner blades. :D

Bob is my good friend and I have several of his knives. He is a craftsman and his work will delight you. He is a true winner in slip joints and the best deal in a custom knife anywhere!

PICS added to 1st post!

Today I got my new toy! :D

All I can say: Go and get you one of Bob`s!!! :thumbup:

This is a very nice and very well made knife. Much more than you`d expect for that very low price! :cool: :thumbup:

Ok, pink ivory is none of my favorite wood but perhaps I might get it changed by a nice forums matie!? :rolleyes: :D

For now I`m more than happy with what I got and have to play with it for a while! ;)

I really like the blade shape on the pink trapper. Did I say I like pink??? Seriously, your two blade Ham trapper is a nice looking knife and I wouldn't change a thing.

:eek:
omg, with workmanship and prices like that, why buy $100.00 productions?

Thanks, guys! :thumbup: :)

Took it to a hiking trip in Austria last weekend (along with some others) and it served me very well!
Highly recommended! :thumbup:
(And NO, I´m not related to Mr. Ham and NO, I don`t get any percentages! :D :D :D )

Thanks Dijos -I may even get better at this as I learn my way around the sight.

Thanks Bill - I can see I need to do some sheath work with my slip joints. Your sheath looks good with your knife. Bob
