(i'm sure this exists on the forums in one way or another but i'm not sure the best way to find it, so.....)

please share any photos or links of would-be beckers that either never saw the light of day or are designs floating around the stratosphere for future generations.

i dig how most of the becker offerings build off of a stock handle and "any color as long as it's black" base. these qualities seem to make them candy for the custom 'mod' type. i've been working up some designs i'm going to create based on this and am curious if you guys have some secret scribblings or examples of your own you would share. thanks!

As far as design ideas, take a look at this thread here:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/800585-Becker-Knife-Ideas

This is one that has been kicking around for awhile that is being added to regularly by the members of this subforum.

Some of us have even made them a reality:

We have a couple of pics of some actual Becker protos and whatnot here somewhere and I will edit this to add them here in a bit.

Okay, from the second one down, here is the progression of the BK11:

The first knife shown there was the inspiration for it.

And here you have the three surviving original tweener protos here, with the second gen proto of the Camp Tweener on top:

well, obviously, there's the BK8 Helicopter Egress Tool (the egress is THIS way) :> which has little to do with the final tool they made..

and the Camillus BK12 prototypes... good stuff those... made over by that Ritter guy currently. nice!

and there's some Machax prototypes... (shot show 2012, yar!)

and some tweener prototypes (shot show 2012, next year)

and some necker prototypes... (most of which have seen the light of day now)

oh, and i've fondled the Brute and Patrol Machete prototypes that are coming out "real soon now" (this year? next year? sometime)

there's some cute photos here and there...

oh, and a Zombie prototype ;)

might even dig up some photos, or look in the blade database, as i'm lazy right now

i even found a website the other year, with a bunch of old, possibly for sale someday, early CinCinnati prototypes.

they're around :)

thanks for the leads bladite. my stuff only goes back to camillus but i do have a bunch of family down in cinci. maybe one of my uncles has a becker and doesn't know it.

Man that recurve looks nice on that first knife. I am a big fan of a belly on a knife that's a chopper.
