A friend of mine got recently a setup for Cerakote.

I heavily scratched my Dimona while using it so I asked him to kote it for me, with a design by yours truly (freely inspired by the movie 300 and by a pattern found somewhere else).

Here is the result of the experimentation, still a bit unpolished (we will add clear Kote to get it smoother) but the spirit is there. Black and red Cerakote.

Took him much more time than expected, but we now have a better idea of the process and we will keep on experimenting.

Enjoy!

It's hard to call that a Traditional pattern. Let's move this to Maintenance, which would be more appropriate for the main topic of "Cerakote".

I was just wondering what is involved in applying Cerakote. Is it spray on, paint on, or dip? Do you have to bake it afterwards or what?
