Expiration notice email

Spark, is it possible to reset the expiration of membership email so that it gives a week's notice rather than one day? I got my notice (and thanks for that!) on the 7th that I would expire on the 8th. Here on the 9th, I am no longer Platinum. I don't use PP or CC online, but mailed my USPS M.O. for renewal on the 7th when I got the notice. I understand that snail mail takes a couple of days, and so does order processing at 1SKS. A week's head's up would be appreciated. And yeah, I was told a year ago how to find my renewal date in my control panel. Call me dumb or lazy though. I never looked it up.

Thanks and please consider backing up the notice date by a few days.
