I'm kinda new to the forum part of this so I thought I'd interject some of my refined interests...l don't want you to think I'm a beast all the time... Lol... When I'm not working in the swamp you can probably find me in my vineyard.... That's right 685 vines... Anyone else into wine??? Let's drink..

I used to be more into wines, but my family got really into it and my brother turned into a snob... Kinda killed it for me. Then I turned to whiskeys.. enjoying those without the snobs... But I'm really drinking less and less as my years progress (mid-30's now)... Maybe my consumption will climb again when I reach a certain age ... Or maybe I'll need it more when my kids reach a certain age.. who knows!!

There's nothing like a good glass of wine (or a glass of good wine... things kinda get mixed up...) at the right time!

But apparently I have a problem... been told (a few times) that I drink beer like water, wine like beer and spirits like wine...

My previous comment didn't mean to convey that I no longer drink wine! I still have a wine fridge and still always have a few bottles on hand! But I tend to stay with younger, "less expensive" wines.

Steaks is one of the greatest ways to enjoy a good wine, especially with food company.

I'm a social drinker (extrovert)... I hardly ever drink alone, especially wine.

I also enjoy wine from time to time, beer on social occasions, and i make both. My wines are all raspberry, or blackberry. As for the beer i like to make porters and stouts with lots of caramel grains in them.

That all sounds GREAT.

I like wine. We try to keep a few bottles of red back to age. I think our current oldest is a couple bottles of 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon.

I like a lot of different wines... I have over 200 bottles in my wine cellar.... I like sweet or dry as low as the acid level is low... I like a good low acid Merlot but they're hard to find...

Spanish & Italian wines are often lighter in intensity and acidity, kind of makes sense, they're made for easy drinking during quite hot weather.
