Extended tail cap for Mountaineer I?

Having owned several of the one piece line, I just got into a 4"inch for the first time. I really like it, but find the handle about a half inch too short, and I don't have very big hands. Is there anything I could adapt or anyone that makes an extended tail cap? Is this something CR has considered?

Ditto on the Aviator. I would still have one if it were not for this issue. If CRK came up with an extended cap, I'd immediately go out and get another Aviator.

Just this month Smooth Bone I think it was posted some interesting things for the one-piece knives.I am not sure who made these but you may find him on e-bay and possibly get what you are looking for.Good luck.
