Extra...Extra...."Man Makes Knives".....

Man, you can't beat that for FREE promotion.
Good for you and the custom knife industry in general.

Nice article. They should have been more descriptive in that last sentence of the second last paragraph. They make it sound like tempering is done to harden the steel.

That is a distinction that will likely be lost on most of their readership. I thought it was really well done and communicates to the uninitiated just what a bladesmith does. Congrats Mace!

Great article. I was surprised to see that you are also located in CT. I am in Canton. Would love to see your shop some time.

Whew.....My heads come back almost to normal size!

This was a great write up...almost too good. In todays paper my picture was on the "opinion" page. Someone wrote in because I wasn't wearing safety glasses! The thing is....I always wear them in the shop. I just took them off for the photo. Oh well...I'm still in the paper.:D

Sidebar: Open any motorcycle magazine worth a hoot, and if the mirrors are removable and not part of the fairings, they are gone. The editors always take them out because they are a distraction. That's the same here.

Small critical price to pay for such good exposure for ALL of us. Thanks.

Write a response and tell them that you have super-duper polycarbonate calibrated corneas!!!! "glasses? we don't need no stinkin' glasses":D
