Extra large Bantam?

I've noticed a lot of discussion about huge folders around other areas of blade forums. People seem to dig them. Then it came to me like the flux capacitor - a huge Buck Bantam would sell like crazy. Say maybe a 5" blade, about 5 oz. weight, and a $30 or so MSRP. Good idea or :barf:?

The current large Bantam in a whopper itself, but to go as large as your idea, I would think some steel liners would need to be added to the design??

...Have you seen the old Buck 446 Goliath?...It's a brute of a knife and is one heck of a work horse that can still be found in the $30 range on "some" auction sites...I borrowed a picture from a friend that was posted on another forum...I hope Clydetz doesn't mind my re-posting it here...:)

That's the "Bucklite Goliath", isn't it, DarrylS??? I know there's a brass & [some kind of] wood version also...

...Yes that is the "Bucklite" 446 Goliath...I was hoping you'd find a pic of that "special" wood n' metal version of that beast...Now THERE is a serious hunka knife......:p

Cool, thanks for the pics guys. I'm always learning here.:) That Goliath looks beefy. It looks heavy too though. I was thinking the huge Bantam would still be light enough to carry with a pocket clip. Probably would need steel liners like Bear Claw said. Thanks again for the input on my random thought.:D
