I was just wondering, has CRK ever thought about doing an XL Sebenza with a 4 1/2 to 5 inch blade? Would any one be interested in them besides me? I have 1 Umfaan, 3 small plain Sebenzas and 1 Large Sebenza. I love them all. But I'd still be interested in an Xl Sebenza. Okay, more than one, maybe four Xl Sebenzas.

just wondering.
thanks,

Jason

I would REALLY like to have a 6.5" Sebenza. Six inch would be ok too.

Any chance there is one soon to be available?:D

Do a search and you will see that this topic has been addressed before. I would love to see a 4 to 4.5 inch sebbie with 5/32" blade steel and side plates at .150" thick!

But, alas CRK has said NOWAY. If you want an XL Sebbie you will have to buy a D. Ralph Madd Maxx in the 5.5" version or a Cuda Maxx. Both are great knives. ( just not a sebenza:D )

The reason that Chris won't make a folding knife with a longer blade is simply that the longer the blade, the more leverage can be placed on the pivot and lock. If you need a blade that is longer than the 3.5 inches of the Sebenza, you need a fixed blade!

But that's exactly why I think CRK/the Sebenza would be the best possible choice for a knife this size. After all, it's the best folder that I've ever owned.:) :) :)

I second that Jason.

A stout, strong, light, titanium, liner lock on a 6.3 inch blade with a 6.5 inch handle, of good steel, with a good long straight grind edge...

Ummmmmmm Please, Please, Please. We'll send money!!! :):D
