So after the last gathering we had some extra prizes.

I thought we would give away a few gift boxes for Christmas.

No hints to what we have.


We would like to see a pic of your favorite BECKER knife in its natural environment. New pics please.

Please tell us why this is your favorite.

If you won extra prizes who would you give it to and why.

It will run for a week or so.

This is my favorite Becker knife.
It’s a copy of Murphs 9.
Todd and Murph did the grinding for me.
I left it in the rough because I like it that way.
 
Oh boy. Been quite a while since I've logged into BF -- life happens. Just re-upgraded to Gold also. This place is like a STD that keeps flaring back up.

Here is my cherished BK9 - used for a variety of things, not least of which is firewood duty every now and then. Has the factory micarta and a custom leather sheath from Psyop.. if I'm remembering correctly. Oh, and the firesteel came with it too - what a nice package it is.

Oh, and if I won something, I would be using it to teach my daughter about properly using tools and the outdoors. I have a son on the way as well and they both will be/are learning the value of the right tool for the right job, and how to respect a tool.

I'll play! Not necessarily in it to win it, but I think this one is a fun one. Hopefully this bump will help it get some more traction. Thanks for organizing this one, Trailbum!

On my favorite Becker. Thats tough to pick because there are several at the very top of my list. Right now I am going with my BK10. It is too short to be the best large knife and it is still too bulky to make the best small knife. I dont care. The design appealed to me so I jumped on one when Ka Bar rereleased it. I was a late adopter with the tweener size Beckers so I made my BK10 work as my tweener. It is a strong and versatile blade and can put in some work when needed.

I was fortunate enough to be able to get it out some today. Mine is still bone stock. I just use it when I need it and keep it sharp.


I don't need more stuff, but I have a few friends in mind depending on the goodies involved. Several are knife nuts and big Ka Bar fans who have never been active on the forums nor have not had the opportunity to visit bladeshow, a gathering or anything like that. They would appreciate some swag.

I am not sure if it is my favorite, as that is a decision that above my pay grade. It is my most used. It is the handiest Becker I own. As far as extra stuff goes I have a couple of teenage boys that were part of our homeschool group, they were always a big help to me on multi family camping trips.

It's not my favorite but it is my most carried and used Becker. I staged this picture today and on the first try a heavy wind blew it off the I beam. It fell 3 stories down into the restricted area of the Bethlehem Steel works. Two years ago I lost my 14 thru an ice hole while fishing. I wasn't about to lose another. Over the fence and into the abandoned power house I went. Needless to say this is take two:D

The King is exceptionally versatile, it can handle chores both big and small.

If I won extra prizes, I would give them to my daughter. She has the beginnings of a very nice knife collection.
