Im pretty sure I have seen pictures and talk of people putting a few small extras in their Leatherman cases for a sort of mini kit. But trying a search is netting me nothing....

So do any of you guys have like a small flashlight, stone, and or ferro rod type setups? Im tryin to get the most without looking like a nut in my wave case. Im a IT guy so I wear dockers and typical biz casual attire. I can get away with a Leatherman case on my belt but thats about it, so give me some ideas or pics of a few essentials squeezed in with the multi-tool please.

A small prybar and single AAA light fit quite nicely. Sometimes I add a mini Bic.

In Charge nylon sheath; Fenix EO1 in one elastic side space, bit extender in the other, custom awl mod and Surge diamond coated file in rear pocket. In Core sheath; same Fenix in side elastic, short Sharpie in the other, removable bit driver with bit holder in rear pocket. That's what I carry when expecting "serious" projects. Otherwise, most of the time I carry the multitool only, suspended by belt hanger into my pocket.

in my leatherman wave nylon sheath i have a firesteel, pj cotton ball tinder straw, victorinox signal mirror, paper clip and fisher space pen accompanying the tool :)

Along with my Leatherman Wave, I carry a Fenix E01 flashlight, a small ink pen, and 3 extra bits, in my nylon LM Wave belt-sheath.

In my Charge nylon sheath I keep a Fenix LD01, specialized bit card, metal saw, and a leatherman bit exchanger with extra long philips hex bit

My father liked to tuck an allen key under a tool in his old Schrade Tough Tool.

Perhaps you could see if you could tuck an allen key or other commonly used bit in the tool somewhere.

I try to carry the detachable corkscrew along with my Vic Spirit but it's a tight fit in the leather sheath and also prone to being lost when the tool is removed from the sheath. I even have the corkscrew in a piece of soft plastic tubing to keep it from scratching the tool.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I can see a slightly different mix for urban and one for wilderness.

I think for edc urban would be a lighter, small light, fisher space pen and maybe some sort of sharpener maybe would be a good start for me depending on what i can get to fit without going overboard.

I doubt all that would fit an ordinary Leatherman sheath. I don't know of a lighter small enough to make the cut. If you want to keep that stuff together, you might look at one of the NiteIze belt pouches. They can carry lots and also look nice. Or, give up smoking :D .

I GENERALLY carry a couple bandaides in that back pocket and a minilight on one side and a mini-sharpie on the other.
Peace
