extrema present from my boss!

To mark the companies 10th anniversary, my boss got all of us extrema ratio fulcrum ii folders, with the company logo laser etched on the non-clip side (not shown)! Being a knife nut, I was very surprised and impressed!

This was the first time I'd ever handled an extrema ratio, although I am familiar with their lineup. I took some pictures with my spyderco military, and as you can see, it is a substantial piece! Fit and finish is very good, and although not a great slicer, it was not designed to be one. I really like the ergonomics, as well as the lock-back with a secondary lock, preventing the knife from closing at all. Really a great knife, and should definitely stand-up to hard use!








 
Unless your boss is a knife lover too I can't figure out how he/she is even aware of Extrema Ratio. Best gift from a company I have ever heard of.
 
Wow man thats definately the coolest gift I've ever heard of a company giving. Do you work in the knife industry or what?
 
Someone in that company is a knife addict. Nice gift ;)

That is the nicest one of the line up I think.

Wow - that is one sweet gift!

The only knife-related thing I have ever received from my employer was a recent email telling me that I can no longer use any "bladed tools" of my own while at a certain company facility (a move targeting leatherman type tools in one of our factories).

Kudo's to your boss and the people who made the decision to make such a fine gift.

Very cool! These are quite expensive. I've seen on the Net ER clones, but this knife looks genuine :thumbup:
 
...damn it....Now I want another knife, I knew I shouldn't have looked.
 
Seriously nice boss, seriously nice knife! That exterma ratio is an beast of folder, literally!
 
Awesome gift, very jealous.

Don't get me wrong, I have an awesome job but my boss has no idea how long I've worked for him, let alone been within the company.
 
That's one awesome gift from you Boss Congrats. :cool: I wonder what the next anniversary will bring. Maybe you should get him some hinderer or strider matieral to read up on. :D:thumbup:
