Hello fellow knife enthousiasts
i bought a extrema ratio RAO 185 a while ago. im experiencing some back and forth blade play...it light but obviously there.
I think when i put this knife in action with some light chopping chores it will get worse.
i thought i read somrthing on bladeforums about a guy who fixed this with replacing the rather thin spring in the roll lock.
Can anyone verify this.
i think its the guy who put his RAO trough some rough tests on youtube where he hit it on a big brick.
I was under the impression that i read somewhere that he was able to fix the lock.
is there any method on fixing the lock on a RAO...i rraly want to use it more frequently because its my EDC now.
ive found a little sheat for it thats normally used for carrying mobile phones on like construction sites. it fits like a glove, easy to put in or getting out. the total weight has come down quite a bit in comparison to Original sheat.
i will use the RAO on some more heavy tasks when i know it will be repairable...if its not, well i realy have not much of a use for it besides impressing friends en playing a little bit with it
thanks for reading my question.
regards
robin
