Just recently traded for these and I really like them. The short bladed one is the Pitbull mode, with a full sized handle and sub 3" blade. It makes an excellent knife to take to work, won't draw unwanted attention. The larger one is probably in my top 10 of all time perfect folders. The blade shape, the grip, the extra lock just makes both a joy to carry and use. These are also the sharpest knives I've felt right out of the box, even sharper than my Spydies!

Thanks. yeah they don't have the super thick blades like the other ones either, they are extremely good slicers!

If it's possble, could you show pics of the lock-up? Is the extra lock mechanism similart to CRKT's LAWKS?

TIA

I tried getting a pic of the lockup, but it comes out dark and blurry. Basically it's a liner lock, and when you flip that little switch, a small bar moves in between the liner lock and the handle making it impossible to close.
I've used the larger knife for chopping small branches and even batoning and it holds up like a fixed blade. I am more than impressed!

Thanks for the effort. Ever since I saw those folder roughly 2 years ago, they really looked to be "clumsy gorilla-proof" (I'm very seldom impressed with liner locks) and your handling impressions seem to confirm this! These newer models look more ideal since they look less tank-like than the previous models. The deep-carry/low ride clip also welcome feature for urban carry.

Yes, they are about half the thickness of the other models that are geared more toward the "tactical" look. These are still plenty rugged feeling, while still being able to slice quite nicely. Even white knuckling them wihtout the extra lock engaged, I couldn't get the liner to disengage.
