recently got a extrema ratio fulcrum 11 combo edge tanto in a swap, must say i am impressed, makes a great edc knife it isnt too thick, carries much better than my buck/strider 880 though its about the same thickness, really locks up well, i dont know how quickly ya can apply the secondary lock but if ya do i would think it would work well, though lock up is so solid i wouldnt worry about it, i thought they were liner/frame locks, didnt realise they were like a lockback, all in all i am really happy with it. certainly compares favorably to the larger knives ie buck/strider, surefire alpha, fit and finish is great, and above all really feels good in the hand. now i gotta get a nemisis lol, anyone know a good place w/a good price, the one i like would be the highest $$ one, as usual.
i was wondering if they might be too large/heavy to edc, but it isnt a problem at all, i highly reccomend them if ya need a big beefy heavy duty folder. the only con to me is that the blade is so "busy" w/all the logos/etc, they could skip that imho, really really like mine FWIW, a VERY heavy duty folding knife.
