I saw a little talk lately about them and people seem to just want to know more about these knives.

So I went ahead and ordered a BF3 model.

If you guys want I'll make a video with my thoughts on it, It won't be a review it'll probly just be me outside recording on an Iphone talking and swearing about build quality, showing how it carries in the pocket and doing size comparisons with other popular knives, (probly some reeve knives and osborne benchmades, something like that)

I will let you know how the quality matches up, I'm not gonna sugar coat or yell out specs or anything like that, and yes it will be 100% my opinions which I think are decent ones as I have a lot of very high quality knives, and can distinguish crap from gold quite well.

So I'll know by the response here if I'm gonna do this or not, let me know if you want this to happen, I hope it'll help any people on the fence about getting one. Will probably get here friday. I'll get a youtube channel up and post it here.

Another vid couldn't hurt. There are a few there now, but one more in English wouldn't be bad.

Suggested methods of carry could be interesting. At 10.6" overall and a blade of 4.72", pocket carry could be a challenging.

Just be sure to mention jimping, and say "you mileage may vary" a few times. :D

You gonna cut something with it?

LMAO! I was wondering the same thing.

No cut tests, I will talk about how the edge comes, but it's not gonna be a test Video, more of a fit & finish "Is it overpriced" video.

I will be sure to say how tactical it is as well.

You should probably get an oversized pair of mechanix gloves from you local department store to wear while you tell us how tactical it is too, that way we will be able to tell that you really know what you are talking about.

I really don't think you need to say how tactical it is. It's the "Dark Talon" model. Name says it. If you are not more tactical than Batman, don't even think about owning it! :)

And I do love the "no cutting, sharpness out of the box" videos. Because if you don't cut anything, the "out of the box" sharpness remains forever!

In all seriousness, I might watch a ER review where someone actually cuts something for once, and it looks like that Dark Talon can slice.

Good point. "Tactical" in this case is sort of assumed.

Need to discuss POU too.
Most of the vids on the Talon seem to tip-toe around that.

You would think that cutting something, if only a piece of paper, would be a natural thing to include.

"Unboxing" seems a big thing too.
I sort of enjoy unboxing my new arrivals. I guess most everyone gets a kick out of the arrival of something new, but I'm not sure including that in a vid is a really good use of time.
However, there is some amusement value in the actual opening of the package, especially when the guy can't seem to find a knife to do it with. :D
