Yesterday i received my Extrema Ratio Golem from Frank at http://www.target-masters.net/
Basics
Steel: it reads 58 RC and it is N690, basically it is Euro VG-10.
Size-blade is about 5.5 in and 1/4 thick
type- modified tanto
these are my First impressions.
Handle- excellent, it is new handle for ER, and i like it. It is made out of a hard polymer, without the usual and hateful checkering, very secure and very good when wet. I don't typically like knives with Dual guards, but these didn't get in the way too much. Plus they are removable, so you can clean the blade's tang (really cool if you ask me) plus i suppose if you mess up the handles some how you can replace them.
Blade- Sharpend pry bar geometry, if you are not into that, look else where. But if you are this is one hell of a nice piece, it digs and chops well, i did have to do a bit of sharpening to get the type of edge that i wanted.
Coating-looks good wears fast.
Sheath- really nice, best i have seen so far in this price range, but i did have to get my own leg straps since they were too small for my thighs (no i am not that fat, i lift)
Over all i like this company, although i would like to see a full flat ground more utility oriented blade, like a spyderco temperance, or a busse.
I will get pics as soon as i can
