Have you seen those awesome Extrema Ratio knives in the July 2002 issue of Tactical Knives? Their website is www.extremaratio.com It has an English section but is difficult to navigate, especially for pricing. Those knives with the tiger striped "Tiger Tech Camo" really look great.
There is one company in the U.S. with a limited supply on hand. Maybe I shouldn't post it here since it is another dealer. But, maybe they will allow it since 1SKS doesn't carry the knife.

You can call JDF Inc. Target Masters at 1-866-255-9601 and see what they have in stock. I know that a few forumites have been interested in the Extrema Ratio knives. They are a little pricey, but may be something interesting to own.

I just received my Extrema Ratio knife. I purchased the T2000 S with the Tiger Tech Camo finish. It is an awesome knife. The tip could be a little thicker and the handle material is different, but the overall knife is very nice and heavy. The sheath is top knotch and comes in an elegant box.

I'm happy!

Hey...

Kinda cool looking knives....

The 2000 is nice..

The ones on the front page don't cut my rope though...
Not a big fan of holes or slots in a blade....

Looking at the sheaths ..

What in the ____ is black Inpax ?? LOL:)

Looks like good-ole Kydex to me....:)

Heres my favorite quote from their website...

"OUR KNIVES ARE VERY HARMFUL."

LMAO...

Cool,,thanks for the link..

I don't know about that "inpax" material for their sheaths either. From the pictures it does look like kydex.
My T2000 S came with that Strider type sheath. It looks like it's made from a leather material, but it is called "ballistic gum." Mine is green but I hear it is available in black as well.

This is really a cool knife. I took a chance an ordered one. I like it. Like I mentioned in the previous post for a tanto I think that the tip could be a little thicker, but I'm not going to use it to stab trees like the tester in the July 2002 of "Tactical Knives Magazine" did.
I love Strider tiger striped knives and this so-called Tiger-Tech Camo finish is just as appealing.

It's kind of interesting to see how other countries market their knives with warnings. Attached to my new Extrema Ratio knife is a hang tag that reads:
1) Keep out of reach of children.
2) The manufacturer declines every civil and criminal liability for damages to things or persons caused by an improper or unlawful use of its knives.
3)Our customers are reminded that every country has its own rules about the right to keep and bear arms.
4) Our items are very harmful. Handle with care to prevent injuries.
5) The manufacturer reserves the right to modify specifications.

This knife was marketed more like a handgun than a knife.......

As a new member to your forum I would like to introduce myself and my company. My name is Frank Miller and I am the president of Target Masters. We are the US Distributors for the Extrema Ratio knives. Since they are being talked about in this forum I wanted to offer my assistance with any questions that may come up. Please visit my web site www.target-masters.net . I hope all the info you might need is there.
Thanks for allowing me this forum!! I look forward to sharing ideas with all of you.

Frank

Welcome to the forums Frank! Thanks for sharing your knowledge about Extrema Ratio and all things sharp and pointy.

Here's a question for you: why did you and your company decide to represent Extrema Ratio as a dealer?

Maybe Frank will answer some questions. I have been swapping some emails with him and he seems like a great guy. He conveyed to me that he saw the Extrema Ratio product line at a knife show in Germany and felt like it would do quite well here in the U.S. So, they decided to market it here.

After receiving mine and exchanging email with Frank it seems that everyone is trying to get the product off the ground and into our hands. I hope that the U.S. sales take off and that the product line continues to evolve for the U.S. market. It's really neat to see a different interpretation of what the Italian's think a tactical knife should be. Extrema Ratio seems to headed in the right direction.

Crayola,
As a knife enthusiast, and one who has used these kind of knives, I was very impressed with the Extrema Ratio knives. Quite frankly, I figured if they impressed me they might just impress other people. I was in Germany at the IWA show last month looking for products to import to the US. I can say that the knives are as high a quality that I have seen and have the cosmetic appeal to boot. These knives (the Harpoon and the T2000) are in service with the Italian Special Forces. We are working, as we speak, on a design for the US Military and a line that will be directed at the US Law Enforcement community (of which I am one). I feel very good about this product line and look forward to the future with this product.

Anthony,

We are the US Distributor/Importer of Extrema Ratio. We do wholesale sales to dealers as well as retail from our website. We are currently looking for qualified dealers at this time!
Thanks
