Hi,

My first message here. Hope to learn from you guys. Sorry for bad writing (I'm from the Netherlands, and writing in English is so so)

What dou you'll think from the Extrema Ratio knives. I'm looking for the Shrapnel type but can't find some specific reviews. Can you help me out?

Thanx! :)

Always

Welcome aboard.
ERs are good knives.
I own one now, and the owner before me used it to chop down some brush,
and the edge is still just like new.
I hope that helps.
thanks.
Also a new knife producer that makes similar knives is called Dark Ops,
but you'll have to check them out for yourself (you'll know why when you see the website)

I have handled the entire ER line and I'm completely underwhelmed by them. In my opinion, you would be better served by a knife from BK&T(Camillus) or Fallkniven :)

JI there I've seen some ER knives and they look and feel very nice, but don't I know you from somewhere ;) ?

I own a custom Harpoon F (with added serrations) and it is the best fixed blade i have owned so far. Period.
Buy the Shrapnel, with ER you can't go wrong.

Hihi Willy! How are you? Nice to meet you here too! I'm looking for the Shrapnel Knife from ER. Probably my last knife. The coming months i have to save some moneyn for the baby :)

The name Lupara was already given to someone so in choose Always as miy nick.

Greetings!

Be aware, though, that the Shrapnel is *small*. It's a cool little knife, but it might not work for you if you have big - ish hands.

As I might have said on weapons.be in Brussels is a shop who carries them. Might be worth it to check it out when in Belgium

I have a shrapnel, it's a tough little knife, heavy and solid, I have big hands and the handle works fine for me. I've used it hard (prying and digging) and it keeps an edge well, sharpens easily.
