Extrema Ratio RAO

It's been out for a while, pricey, and attractive to those who like a robust style. I've certainly looked it over.

There are those who question it's need - but the requesting agency in the Italian Armed Forces didn't ask them. They spec'd it and got what they wanted. Whether that meets anyone else's actual functional requirements is the individuals decision.

For me, the obtuse point, size, and weight make it a nogo for actual field use. It would look cool in a utube vid, but like the Buckmaster, only a select few will ever be forced to actually carry and use it. Like as not, it'll get treated like an entrenching tool - more dead weight than utility.

As a military collector's knife, tho, it makes the grade for wall hanger.

I wasn't aware that it has been out for a while. I have to imagein it would certainly be OVERKILL for my little gardening duties during the spring!!!

My only beef with ER is they have no support network....I think there`s only one dealer in the U.S.

it is like a tank for sure, I don't like that strange point but the overall quality is very nice.
Also i like the second lock... impressive can be compared to a fixed.

Absolutely it's a tank. BUt I'm not familiar with that steel they use. Anyone have any info about that???
