I was on knife center and decided to look at what their most expensive knives were, this was up there at $577. Here's a link http://www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/store_detail.html?s=EXREV

I just want to know if any of you have handled one or just general opinions. I dont know if I would want to buy one or even keep it as a paper weight haha. I havent seen any reviews online and only one youtube vid of it opening and closing.

In all honesty it looks to be too big for a folder, especially if you are carrying it in your pocket. Idk, thoughts?

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but that knife looks appallingly bad. It's got that weird tanto thing at an extreme angle, and that handle literally looks like the least comfortable handle I've ever seen in my life.

I can basically promise you a Hinder XM18 will be a better buy for that kind of money.

But I've been wrong before. If you get a chance to hold it, let us know what you think.

This is quite a special knife. It's one that buyers of the Lamborghini Reventon get as a little extra. The design is said to be inspired by the sports car. If I am correct, it's only available in very limited numbers (for those without a Reventon), so it's mainly interesting (if at all) for completionist Extrema Ratio collectors.

I have handled it a few times, it's not an EDC, not a weapon, but a pure design exercise... So you love it or hate it !
By the way, it is a big knife, but lightweight for the size.

Extrema ratio has some crazy designs but I have only heard good things about them and some of their designs have really grown on me

Yeah, ER has a great rep, but this looks like something Dork Ops would make...

But you know, maybe it's awesome, who knows. I haven't handled it.

I have an ER BF2 and while it is one of the best made knives I own, the all metal handle and the coating they use makes it awfully slick. The is no jimping and the black coating has almost zero grip to it. Other than that, it is a extremely well made knife. I am actually gonna get mine sandblasted and recoated to add some grip to it.

Yea i dont know if I like it or hate it yet, Ill have to handle it.

Let us see it when you get it, make a thread with pics and a review or something lol...seriously tho!
