Extrema ratio t2000 info wanted.

I am wondering if anyone knows much about extrema ratio knives. I received a T2000 model (at least that's what is on the side of the blade by the grip) in 2003 and carried it everyday in Iraq. The knife seems to have some type of "velcro" grip on it that attaches to the sheath.

The knife came in a black extrema ratio box and included two sheaths, one black and the other green.

Any information would be appreciated. I've searched the web and can't seem to find anything about them. Are they rare? Whats the deal with them? It's a very sturdy knife and I'd like to know more about it.
